Learn about the science behind paranormal studies, find out how to conduct your own investigation. You will be presented with real evidence collected over the span of their career, listen to the dead speak, discuss anomalous photography and hear what it is like to be on the frontline of paranormal investigation. Beckah and Katie have been featured in numerous magazines, both are authors in their own right. Katie with her book Devils and Demonology in the 21st Century (February 2009) and Beckah with Raising Indigo, Crystal and Psychic Kids (December 2009), together they wrote Ghost Quest in New Hampshire two years ago and began their writing careers.
8:30-10:30pm: Dominion Tournament
Master-gamer Phil Hill will run a first-ever tournament for the popular new Mensa Select game, Dominion. Dominion is a Magic the Gathering-type game, but everyone plays with the same set of 10 cards, chosen from 25 possible in the box. Phil will decide which cards will be in play for all players in each round. He expects to play 2-4 rounds depending on the number of people. He'll award points to 1st and 2nd place on each table. He's going to set a time limit on each round, with "sudden death" scoring at the end of the time limit (i.e., the game ends despite not meeting the end condition, count victory points). We will use expansion sets II & III if there are enough sets there. The tournament will be limited to the number of sets x 4 players per set. So, if you have a set and want to play, please bring it along. At this point we are only certain of 4 sets.
